Surjeet Singh’s Early Life
Surjeet was born in the state of Haryana of India in a sport blood family with his father being a former kabaddi player. Kabaddi was the most played sport in his family and village. He started playing the sport full-fledged in inter-school kabaddi matches on the recommendation of his school’s sports coach.
He kept representing and growing representing his school on the district level. Surjeet was always supported to pursue his career in the sport. Surjeet was highly motivated after winning the state championship. He was trained under coach Jeet Singh in his village.
In 2016, he was selected in the Pro Kabaddi League for his performance on an international level.
