With Marcel Sabizter only on loan from Bayern Munich, a new midfielder may also be necessary for the Red Devils this summer, despite the fact that a new world-class striker is expected to top Erik Ten Hag’s summer wishlist.
Teammate Caicedo, 21, has been garnering attention from some of the country’s major clubs, notably champions Arsenal, who sought to buy him during the January window. Mac Allister, 24, has experienced a meteoric rise since he won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina.

Roberto De Zerbi has relied heavily on both midfielders this year. Mac Allister has played in 25 league matches, while Caicedo has been given 27 domestic appearances, so any team wanting to steal them away from the AMEX would likely have to pay a hefty transfer fee.
