Les Leston Career
Les Leston began racing in a Jaguar SS100 before upgrading to a 500cc Cooper and building his own Leston Special. In 1952, he won the Luxembourg Grand Prix, and in 1954, he became a Cooper factory driver, winning the British Formula Three championship in the same year.
