Muhammed Anas Biography: Muhammed Anas was born on 17th September 1994 in Nilamel, Kerala, India. As of 2024, he is 29 years old. He tool up athletics at the Style Sports Academy in Nilamel. He started training in the long jump but later he shifted to 400 m by chances. It is claimed that his school team was looking for a last minute replacement for a 400 m competition at that time.

He studied at the Sree Krishna College and then affiliated to the Calicut University. He has presented his university at the national level.

Muhammed Anas Biography: Career

  • In 2016, he broke the national 400 meter record at the Polish Atgletics Championships clocking 45.40 seconds. That is how he got selected for 2016 Summer Olympics.
  • Anas become the third Indian athlete to qualify for this Olympics event.
  • In June 2016, he was the official part of the relay team that broke the national 4 x 400 metres record in Bangalore. He got qualified for the Rio Olympics.
  • In 2018 Asian Games, he won two silver and one gold in the individual 400 m, men’s 4 x 400 m, and mixed 4 x 400 m relays respively.
  • In the Commonwealth Games 2018, he was placed at the fourth position in the 400m which his men’s 4 x 400 metre failed to finish.
  • He took part in the Tokyo OLympics 2020.
  • He was the part of the 4 x 400 m relay team for the Common wealth Games 2022 by the Athletics Federation of India.
  • In 2014, he become the part of the 2024, Summer Olympics.

Muhammed Anas was the official part of the 2016 Summer Olympics where he represented India in the 400 metres and other 4 x 400 relay. He got selected for this tournament after he broke the national 400-metre record at the Polish Athletics Championships in 2016. Then he made his second appearance in the Olympics 220 where he represented India in the 4 x 400 meters men’s and mixed relays.
