La Liga giants Barcelona have come a long way since their inappropriate exit from the Champions League quarterfinals in the last campaign. Ronald Koeman has successfully done his job to bring the team together and provide a strong start to the new season. Many doubted Koeman’s ability to manage a top club after his failed ventures at Everton in Premier League and Valencia in La Liga.

The Dutchman chalked out his squad for next season on the basis of performance during the pre-season. He recently announced the squad to compete for the Champions League this year.

It included five Barcelona B team players in the 24 man squad which includes Konrad De La Fuente, Iñaki Peña, Arnau Tenas, Oscar Mingueza, and Ilaix Moriba, according to beIN. The youngsters have proved themselves in the B team with their consistent performances. Koeman believes in nurturing youth talents in the club. He is trying to implement a new model at Barcelon as he acquired some top youth prospects during the summer transfer break.

Koeman is giving chances to youngsters so that they can gain experience in top-flight football.
Fati broke into the first-team last year but it was after the restart when he showed his exclusive talent. He even earned his first start for Spain an becoming the youngest player to score a goal. Barcelona is set to become a hoe for exciting talent with Koeman directing the club to positive scenarios. Similarly, Koeman started Ronald Araujo with Clement Lenglet suspended against Sevilla in his third competitive fixture for Barcelona. It ended in a 1-1 raw but Araujo showed his skills to keep attackers like Luuk De Jong at bay. The Catalunya outfit will face Getafe next in the league at the end of the international break.
