Barcelona is regaining its momentum towards a successful season. New manager Ronald Koeman has already tasted victory in his first competitive game in La Liga. Lionel Messi also seems to catch up on his form scoring his first goal in the league. Koeman is trying hard to help Barcelona reach the heights. The players are eager to prove themselves and executing the tactics accurately. In the previous match, the Dutch boss heaped praise on the 17-year-old and his potential. For the second round of La Liga, Barcelona faced Celta Viga in an away match.
Barcelona break the ‘Balaidos’ curse
Barca does not have a good record for the past 6 fixtures traveling to Balaidos. They are winless, losing in 3 of them. However, the curse seemed lifted after Barcelona sailed through with a comfortable 0-3 win. Fati again featured in the scoresheet as he scored the opening goal for the Catalan club. He believes the team will perform well in the group stages competing against one of the top teams in Europe. Koeman added the players are training well and physically fit. This gives a gentle push to go-ahead for a strong 2020/21 campaign.
