Portuguese talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has completed his move to his former club Manchester United and the club has released an official statement of the same on their website. The ex-Juventus player will be staying at the Premier League club for at least two more years, at the end of which, he will have the option to extend it up to one more year. However, it seems highly unlikely that Cristiano Ronaldo will continue playing at United at 39 years of age.

What Cristiano Ronaldo wrote on Instagram

“Following the club’s statement regarding his statement, Cristiano took to Instagram to pen down a heartfelt letter for the Manchester United fans, stating his goals and aims and making some promises, as is his usual nature,” he wrote.
“Everyone who knows me, knows about my never ending love for Manchester United. The years I spent in this club where absolutely amazing and the path we’ve made together is written in gold letters in the history of this great and amazing institution.”
“I can’t even start to explain my feelings right now, as I see my return to Old Trafford announced worldwide. It’s like a dream come true, after all the times that I went back to play against Man. The last line of his caption wherein he mentioned Sir Alex Ferguson was what caught the attention of most fans and they loved Ronaldo’s tribute to the legendary manager.
Cristiano Ronaldo was initially on the verge of signing for the Red Devils’ Manchester rivals Man City but United owner Joel Glazer knew better not to enrage the fans once again over a transfer controversy and thus the Red Devils signed their former player within a day, shocking everyone.
Cristiano Ronaldo will now look to maintain his old form in the Premier League and aim to break many more records.
