CSK 2020: The most anticipated tournament IPL 2020 is just a day away. The cash-rich tournament will finally kick off on September 19 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will face the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the inaugural match of the IPL 2020.
Just before the start of the 13th season of the IPL, Cricket Australia asked the former Aussie captain and the current Delhi Capitals Head Coach Ricky Ponting, to pick one dangerous player from each team. He made his choice in a series of videos.
On Friday, the former Australia captain picked the most dangerous player from the CSK. The pick was not a surprise, it was the CSK captain MS Dhoni.

CSK has been the most consistent side in the IPL. They have progressed to the playoffs in each season they have played in. Just before the start of this year’s IPL, they have been dented by some massive setbacks. 13 members of their team tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Moreover, two of their important players in the likes of Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh pulled out of the IPL citing personal reasons. (CSK 2020)

However, they are still one of the strong favourites to win the IPL 2020 Trophy. The biggest reason is MS Dhoni. The Ranchi man has led his team to three IPL titles. He has been one of the most important reasons behind his side’s success.
CSK will again bank on Dhoni’s leadership, wicketkeeping skills and finishing skills to win the IPL 2020 trophy. They lost the IPL 2019 final against Mumbai Indians by just 1 run. Hence, they will be looking to put up a dominant show in this yea’s IPL. (CSK 2020)
