A Cup of coffee proved very costly for the Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul. The duo appeared in a reality talk show in Koffee with Karan in 2019. Hardik Pandya uttered a few objectionable comments on the show which made a lot of people criticize the duo. Both the players were dropped from the Virat Kohli led side that was scheduled to tour New Zealand.
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul both received a lot of backlash from a large segment of fans and authorities. Other than being dropped from the national side the duo was fined with an amount of 20 Lakhs. The players were also instructed to donate 1 lakh each to 10 widows of soldiers. Apart from all these both the players paid 10 lakh each for the development of blind cricket in the nation.
Though the incident is more than one year old, the memories remain fresh and a large section of fans still troll the duo. Recently Indian skipper Virat Kohli also tried to troll the Indian opener.
KL Rahul gives a befitting reply to Virat Kohli:
KL Rahul recently took to Instagram to post an image where he was sipping coffee. The Kings XI Punjab opener chose the word ‘Coffee’ as the caption. However, fans started trolling him and started reminding him of the unfortunate incident last year.
The Indian skipper Virat Kohli also decided to troll Rahul. Virat Kohli reacted to the tweet with the comment ‘Cup Ganda Hai’. However, known for his witty comments and an amazing sense of humor, KL Rahul took the comment in a friendly manner. The Indian Opener gave a witty reply to the Indian Skipper. KL Rahul wrote “Lekin Dil Saaf Hai” as a reply to the comment from the Delhi born batsman.

The conversation between the two gave all the fans a good laugh.
Both the players are speculated to return back to Cricket in September with the return of the cricket. Kohli will lead the RCB side whereas KL Rahul will command the Punjab team in the upcoming tournament.
