Deepak Hooda Biography: Early Life
Deepak was born on 10th June 1994 to a Jat family in Chamaria Village of Rohtak District in Haryana, India. He was introduced to the sport at a young age and started competitive training in 2009.
During his career, he faced many problems which can be a worse fate for anyone. He lost his mother in 1998 when he was just 4 years old and his father in 2013 while he was studying in 12 std. After this; he had to leave his studies and was forced to work as a teacher in a local private school to earn some bread for himself and his sister. Despite such tough times, he never loosed hope and practiced kabaddi with villagers in somewhat free time he got.

- In 2016, Deepak a part of the Indian kabaddi team winning the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup.
- Under his captaincy, India won gold at the 2016 South Asian Games.
- Later in 2018, he helped his team capture gold at Dubai Kabaddi Masters and bronze at the Asian Games.

- Deepakwas bought by Telegu Titans in the first season of PKL with the season’s second-highest bid of 12.6 lakhs.
