Details: Is Ansu Fati leaving FC Barcelona in 2023?

Ansu Fati ‘wants to remain’ at La Liga winners Barcelona despite interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Wolves this summer. This is the first time Barca president Joan Laporta has spoken out since Xavi and his Blaugrana team won La Liga after three years with a 4-2 victory against Espanyol.

With Barcelona needing to generate about £200 million via player sales this summer, the futures of many players, including Ansu Fati, are doubtful.

The slick Spanish international may be joining Wolverhampton Wanderers thanks to an offer from super-agent Jorge Mendes. The odds are against Ruben Neves heading your way.

Meanwhile, Newcastle is reportedly considering a loan move for a player who broke records at a stunning pace upon his debut as a baby-faced 16-year-old, as reported by Give Me Sport’s Dean Jones.

Details: Is Ansu Fati leaving FC Barcelona in 2023?

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all scouting Fati. The Gunners have allegedly had preliminary conversations with Fati’s agents and offered £60 million for his services.

However, when questioned about a graduate of La Masia who acquired Lionel Messi’s legendary number ten jersey when the Argentine superstar moved to Paris Saint-Germain, Laporta struck a similar tone, suggesting that the 20-year-old had little interest in stepping away from Camp Nou. If Messi were to return to his former club, he may once again lose that jersey.
