ESPN Cricinfo announce their World ODI XI, MS Dhoni misses out

The Coronavirus Pandemic has shaken the cricketing World and most of the cricketing activities have come to a halt. However, various media houses have come to the rescue of their fans and have introduced the concept of best teams of several decades and the best-assorted teams of various nations. In the recent attempt, ESPN Cricinfo has come up with the World Best ODI XI to entertain fans The squad announced by Cricinfo can be defined as a balanced squad. However, the recent nature of One Day Internationals forced Cricinfo to announce a batting heavy squad. The team is dominated by Indian and English Cricket stars. India and England have the maximum number of players in the squad with four players each.

MS Dhoni misses out on the XI

The opening duties have been divided between the explosive batsmen Rohit Sharma and Jason Roy. Both the players are equipped with giving an explosive start to their teams. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has secured the number three spot for himself and is also the captain of the team.

The middle-order looks extremely solid with Kane Williamson, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes taking the duty of finishing the game. Ben Stokes also provide stability to the team with his exceptional bowling activities. The banned Bangladeshi skipper, Shakib Al Hasan makes surprise entry into the 11.
