ICC Women’s T20 Ranking – Shafali Verma losses her Top 1ranking slipped to 3rd position

Indian Women star opening player Shafali Verma loses her top 1 ranking to Beth Mooney. Based on her poor performance in the final match of the ICC Women’s World Cup she lost her Top 1 rank to Australia’s Beth Mooney with rating points of 762.

Beth Mooney made an unbeaten of 78 runs in the final of ICC tournament against India her team to win the final by a huge margin of 85runs. Australia won the 2020 ICC finals and overall, fifth time.

In the last week, only Shafali Verma had gained the top rank position in the ICC ranking her performance and runs scored 164 runs in the ongoing ICC World Cup had helped a lot to gain the rank.

As the tournament is finished with Australia winning the finals ICC has now released the latest ranking. Beth Mooney who is the highest run-scorer in the tournament 259 runs in six innings and also the player of the tournament is now the new top rank in the ranking list.

Shafali Verma slipped to the third position in the ranking list. Whereas New Zealand’s Suzie Bates remains in the second position.

Smriti Mandhana slipped to the seventh position after a poor performance in WorldCup. Australia’s opener Alyssa Healy who made 75 runs in 39 balls moved to the fifth position. Jemimah Rodrigues slipped to 9th position.

Smriti Mandhana didn’t have a good tournament to remember she made 49 runs in four innings at an average of 12.25.
