Women’s World Cup tournament has finally ended and the current champion and 2018 winner Australia won the final match beating India by a huge margin run of 85 runs.
This is Australia’s consecutive win of World Cup they have won the previous edition of World Cup in 2018 and overall, fifth win of the world cup.
Chasing a target of 184 runs India got all out at 99 runs in 19.1 overs. The Australian team was so dominant over India in all the areas batting, bowling and fielding. After winning the toss decided to bat first Australia had got a perfect start from both the opening batting pair.
Both the openers of the Australia team scored Half-century in the final event. Alyssa scored 75 runs in 39 balls and Beth Mooney 78* runs in 54 balls with 10 boundaries and no sixes to the innings

Australia Winning Prize Money –
Along with winning the trophy Australia team won a whopping sum of prize money $1 million (INR 7.40Crores) which is five times then what they won after 2018 world cup finals.
The ICC, in a meeting in October last year, decided to increase the overall prize money by 320 percent which meant that all the participating teams earned more which is great in terms of growth for Women’s cricket.
India Team Prize Money –
India not only lost the match to Australia in the final they also lost the huge sum of the prize money. Three times semi-finalist and entering into finals for the very first time India was one of the favorite teams to win the finals.
India won $500,000 (INR 3.70 crores) which is just half of what Australia team won.
