WATCH: Yuzvendra Chahal gets scared after Mohammed Siraj throws the ball towards him

IPL 2020: Yuzvendra Chahal has put on an excellent performance for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), under Virat Kohli so far in the IPL 2020. The leg spinner has scalped 10 wickets in seven matches at an economy rate of 7.07. He already has two-three wicket hauls in IPL 2020, which is testimony to his effectiveness with the ball in hand in IPL 2020.

Chahal also has been involved in a couple of hilarious incidents, besides delivering with the ball. During the encounter against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai, he was seen running inside the dressing room, after Washington Sundar hit a six. Chahal failed to judge the trajectory of the ball and hence took the evasive action.

During the match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), on October 12, Monday. at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Chahal was involved in yet another hilarious incident. When RCB players were celebrating one of KKR’s wickets, pacer Mohammed Siraj threw the ball towards Chahal. However, Chahal failed to notice and the ball almost hit him.

Against KKR, Chahal delivered an excellent spell. He conceded only 12 runs in his four overs at an economy rate of three. He bowled as many as 13 balls and stamped his authority. Moreover, he did not give away a single boundary, in a ground which was batting friendly.

He scalped the important wi9cket of KKR captain Dinesh Karthik, who got back to form in the last match, scoring a half-century against the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Abu Dhabi. Virat Kohli and Co secured an 82 runs victory against the Knights.

Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first. AB de Villiers’ 33-ball 73 took RCB to a mammoth total. In reply, KKR could manage to score only 112 runs in their 20 overs. Every RCB bowlers picked up at least a wicket. RCB has now climbed to the third spot in the points table with 5 wins in 7 games.
