IPL 2020: Harsha Bhogle wants CSK to buy this player in the mid-season transfer.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are going through a very bad phase so far in IPL 2020. They have secured only 2 victories out of the seven matches they have played so far in the IPL. CSK are virtually in a do or die situation ahead of their next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Dubai. They will be stepping out for the game, having lost their previous match against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 46 runs.

CSK’s batting has been poor so far in IPL 2020. The absence of Suresh Raina has left a huge void for CSK to fill. They have even not found any replacement for ‘Chinna Thala’. Meanwhile, cricket journalist, Harsha Bhogle feels that CSK should go for Ajinkya Rhaane in the mid-season transfer.

He wrote on Twitter, “How’s this for a mid-season transfer thought: #CSK desperately need a quality top-order batsman. Ajinkya Rahane desperately needs a game. Ajinkya Rahane is not getting a game. #MidnightThoughts.”

Ajinkya Rahane IPL 2020

Rahane has a lot of experience of playing in the IPL. Also, he has not got any such opportunity to play for Delhi capitals (DC) so far in IPL 2020. He has just played a game for them against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday, October 11 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. He was unable to score a lot of runs, getting dismissed on 15.

IPL 2020: CSK skipper MS Dhoni is very frustrated.

CSK’s captain MS Dhoni was very frustrated after their 10 runs loss against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Abu Dhabi. CSK’s batsmen faltered in the middle overs, after the dismissal of Shane Watson, who scored a half-century.

“In the middle overs there was a phase where they bowled two or three good overs and after that, we lost three wickets. That was the phase we really lost it. If we batted better from that period on the result would have been different,” Dhoni was quoted as said after the match.

“(Sam) Curran was really good with the ball, and I think we did well in general with the ball. 160-odd runs is something we should have chased but I think we batsmen let down the bowlers today,” the 39-year-old added.
