IPL 2020: Suresh Raina’s Wish For MS Dhoni For Becoming The Most Capped Player In the IPL.

IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are now facing the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 14th match of the IPL 2020 in Dubai. CSK has suffered two crushing defeats in their first three matches. So, they are currently placed at the bottom of the points table. They decided to make some changes in the playing combination by picking 8 batsmen and 7 bowlers against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In the Meantime, MS Dhoni has reached yet another landmark. He is now the most capped player in the IPL with 194 caps. Before the start of the match, he had the same number of appearances as his compatriot Suresh Raina. However, after the toss, MS Dhoni reached yet another landmark.

MS Dhoni has been part of the CSK since the start of the IPL. This association has been very special as under Dhoni, CSK has been the most consistent side in the IPL. They have featured in 8 finals till now and won three of them till now.

MS Dhoni has been the captain of CSK in every game. In the 2016 and 2017 season, when CSK suffered a suspension, he was part of the Rising Pune Supergiants. However, he came back and led CSK to their third IPL title in 2018. MS Dhoni is one IPL title behind Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma.

Twitteratis poured in their wishes for MS Dhoni for adding this feather to his cap. Suresh Raina also wished MS Dhoni before the game against SRH. “Congratulations Mahi bhai for becoming the most capped IPL player. Happiest that my record is being broken by you. All the best for the game today and am sure @ChennaiIPL will win this season’s @IPL,” wrote Raina on Twitter.

CSK got the required boost, as their in-form batsman Ambati Rayudu returned to the playing XI, after missing out two matches due to hamstring strain.
