IPL 2022: Fans trolled MI after an unexpected defeat against DC

IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals (DC) registered a nail-biting victory over five times winner Mumbai Indians (MI) in the second game of the IPL 2022. Mumbai Indians were totally in the game before the 16th over of the game. However, Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel changed gears from there and scored 42 runs in just the next 14 balls.

Mumbai Indians fans were really hearted after the unexpected defeat of this game and trolled their own favorite team on Twitter. They even called it the ‘Parampara’ of the franchise to lose every first game of the season including IPL 2022.

Jasprit Bumrah conceded 43 runs in the match and 24 of them were conceded in the 18th over. MI fans didn’t show mercy to their star bowler as well and trolled him brutally.

IPL 2022: DC vs MI Match Summary:

Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Rohit Sharma tried to troll him during the toss but Rishabh replied with his captaincy in the match by beating Mumbai Indians by 4 wickets.

Mumbai Indians started really well batting first in the match. However, the wickets started falling after Rohit Sharma went out on a googly of Kuldeep Yadav. However, Ishan Kishan stick to the other end and played an unbeaten inning of 81 runs in the match. Ishan helped Mumbai Indians to put a total of 177 runs in the first inning.

In return, Delhi Capitals start was not something they were really expecting. Prithvi Shaw managed to score 38 runs but wickets continued to fall from another end. However, after Prithvi Shaw, Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel took the responsibility of bating and played winning knocks for the team.

Lalit Yadav scored 48 runs not out in 38 balls along with Axar Patel who really went berserker and scored 38 runs in just 17 balls. Basil Thampi and Murugan Ashwin took 3-2 wickets respectively from the Mumbai Indians side in the game.
