Jadon Sancho is being heavily linked to Manchester United

Meanwhile, the rumours of 21-year old Jadon Sancho joining Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund have intensified in the last week. The player has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the Red Devils and is set to be a United player, provided they can negotiate a deal with Sancho’s current club Dortmund who are rigid in their demand of £77.5m for the winger. Manchester United’s first bid of £67 million has already been rejected by the germans. It is pretty clear from the initial proceedings that this will be a long transfer window for both the clubs.

However, Sancho looks unaffected by the rumours that are being circulated. He is currently only focused on the Euros. However, he gave a pretty interesting reaction on being asked about the transfer.

“I’m cool about it,” he said, when quizzed on the speculation linking him to United.”

“There’s always going to be speculation, especially when you do well.”

“It’s just how you handle that on the pitch. You’ve got to keep doing what you’re doing; if you keep on doing that then I’m sure that won’t be a problem.”

“The main thing is my football and that’s what I’m focusing on at the moment.”

Jadon Sancho has grown up to become one of the best Right wingers in the world currently. His pace and control over the ball is unmatched in the position which makes him a desirable signing for any team. Although as of now Manchester United seem to be the only suitor for Sancho, they might need to hurry lest any other club should show interest in the youngster.

When the red devils made initial contacts regarding the player in January, Liverpool were also interested to sign him, However, it was later revealed that the Reds might not have the finances to fund the transaction, which made United the only viable option, but you never know if any other club enters the transfer battle.
