Jasprit Bumrah always rises up to the occasion when India are in dire need of a wicket and today was no different. The Blues were fixed in a deadlock after taking 4 wickets as the English batsmen were defending very well and opting for a draw. It was then that Virat Kohli sent the best bowler available to him, Jasprit Bumrah, and the 29-year old did not let his captain down. He picked up two big wickets in quick succession and completely turned the game around, putting India on the frontfoot.

His first prey was in-form batsman Ollie Pope. Ollie Pope was England’s highest run-getter in the first innings of the fourth test and a similar knock was expected of him in the second innings as well when England were in dire need of wickets. However, Jasprit Bumrah had other plans as he packed him up at just 2.
He did not stop there and moments later, picked up another big wicket of Jonny Bairstow. This wicket, in particular, was special and acquired the praises of cricket enthusiasts from all over the world. A perfect yorker, just the way Bumrah does it best, and even before Jonny Bairstow could know, the ball had hit the wicket.
