A.S Roma’s twitter account recently released a short video of the drone being set up at the Trigoria training facility. But that is not all. Several small screens and joysticks have also been set up to control the drones and monitor its footage on the field itself. The players can now check on their progress as they play, thus making the process easier and quicker.

The released video also showed the Roma players huddling up at the end of the training session to check on the footage and take necessary notes.

The upcoming season will be Jose Mourinho’s first at the Serie A club. Not even a month after he was relieved of his duties at Premier League club Tottenham Hotspurs, A.S Roma appointed Jose Mourinho as their new head coach replacing Paulo Fonseca. It was earlier looking to swap between the two clubs as Paulo Fonseca was very close to joining Tottenham Hotspurs. Unfortunately the deal broke off and the Londoners instead signed former Wolves coach Nuno Espirito Santos as their manager.

Coming on to Mourinho’s A.S Roma, the Portuguese manager is keen on making some fruitful additions to the squad. They have already bought goalkeeper Rui Patricio from Wolves for £9.8million and are also reportedly interested to sign Arsenal defensive midfielder Granit Xhaka.

A.S Roma came out with flying colours in their first preseason match under Jose Mourinho. They thrashed the opposition 10-0, creating an immediate impact. Mourinho’s men cannot be underestimated and might very well turn out to be the underdogs in Serie A this season.
