Pep Guardiola’s men were ruthless from the very first minute and their two goals in the first 12 minutes of the match was just a trailer of the storm that was about to come. Granit Xhaka’s red card in the 35th minute only worsened the situation for the Londoners as it gave Man City a chance to press Arsenal further inside their half.

There were 4 different goal scorers for Manchester City tonight. Ilkay Gundogan, Gabriel Jesus and Rodri scored a goal each while youngster Ferran Torres scored a brace. This win has taken the defending champions to the top of the table. However, they are expected to lose the spot soon, once the other teams are done with their matches.

This defeat is yet another strike for head coach Mikel Arteta at Arsenal and he will probably not get many more chances to redeem himself. It was earlier being said the former Man City assistant coach will be given the first half of the season and his stay at the club will depend on Arsenal’s performance in those matches. If that speculation is true, Mikel Arteta might have to bid his farewell to the Emirates stadium.

Arsenal losing a Premier League match is always followed by the club being bantered by the fans of rival clubs and today was no different. The fact that they lost to two big clubs straight- Chelsea and Man City, has made the situation even worse for the Arsenal fans who are finding it hard to digest.
