Peter Arundell Career
Peter Arundell had a spin when competing in Formula Two at Reims-Gueux in 1964, and Richie Ginther struck him hard. Arundell was flung from his car in an accident, which caused him to miss the majority of the 1965 season. Arundell finished third on his comeback in the non-championship South African Grand Prix at East London on January 1, 1966, earning Lotus team manager Colin Chapman a spot in the squad for 1966.
