Pro Kabbadi League (PKL)

Pro Kabbadi League is a national level kabaddi tournament that is aired on the Star Network Channels. 

The league was started by Star India Pvt Ltd & Mashal Sports Pvt Ltd in 2014. 

Mashal Sports is co-owned by Anand Mahindra and Charu Sharma. 

Pro Kabbadi League has gained a vast fanbase and in all, they have 12 teams representing different geographical regions throughout India.

Kabaddi was a sport that was fading with time throughout the whole country. 

Even if it was still played in some towns but the game never gained the spotlight and glam as cricket did.

But the reason the Pro Kabaddi Leagues gained a fandom was the extreme advertisement and the urge of watching a sport that was a part of our culture for so long.
