Jos Buttler moved out of the bio-bubble after the T20 series against Australia to meet with his family. However, he returned on time to play the ODI series. Buttler is currently in a rich vein of form in the T20 format and is now one of the most dangerous batsmen going around. He played an integral role in England’s T20 series triumph against Australia.

Buttler even performed well for the Rajasthan Royals last year. He opened the innings for them and played 8 matches. He scored 311 runs at a strike rate of 151.70. He smashed three half-centuries last season. Royals will feel his absence in the opening match. So, they need the other batsmen in their team to step up.

On the other hand, CSK has already notched up victory in their opening game against the Mumbai Indians. They will now be looking to cash in on their winning run.
