Tony Ferguson Personal Life

Ferguson and his wife, Cristina Ferguson, have a son. Cristina filed a restraining order against Tony in March 2019, stating unusual conduct such as acute paranoia, not sleeping for days, pulling apart their house fireplace, and believing that a monitoring chip was implanted in his leg during reconstructive knee surgery. She did not allege physical abuse, and the restraining order was a preventative step to seek him care for his mental illness. By April 2019, she had lifted the injunction, and he had resumed his MMA training.

Ferguson was arrested in Hollywood, California, in the early hours of May 7, 2023, and charged with driving under the influence after reportedly smashing his pickup truck into two other cars outside a nightclub, forcing his vehicle to flip over. He was arrested and put into the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood station, where his bail was $30,000. He was later freed from detention on his recognizance.
