Nehal Wadhera: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians are playing their first game of the IPL 2023 today at the iconic Chinnaswamy stadium. However, instead of Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma, young Nehal Wadhera is making the name for himself in this game. Nehal showed his capabilities in a small cameo he played to add important runs to the MI’s inning.

Mumbai Indians was seen struggling at the start of the inning. Rohit, Kishan, and Green went out cheaply while Suryakumar Yadav also went out with a score of 15. However, Tilak Varma played a not-out inning of 84 runs to help Mumbai Indians put a total of 171 on 7 in 20 overs. Tilak Varma scored 84 runs in just 46 balls with the help of 9 fours and 4 sixes.

Nehal Wadhera’s out of stadium six

Nehal Wadhera was one of the few batsmen in the MI lineup to dominate the RCB bowlers. He scored 21 out of just 13 balls. He smashed back-to-back sixes to Karn Sharma in the 14th over. He smashed 4th ball of the over out of the stadium in the long-on area. It was a 101-meter six, which is the longest in the tournament this season. Twitterati couldn’t stop praising him after his cameo.
