Afghanistan rally to advance to the next round.

Before Najibullah and Ibrahim shocked Bangladesh in the chase, Mujeeb and Rashid were the stars with the ball.

Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh 127 for 7 (Mosaddek 48*, Mujeeb 3-16, Rashid 3-22) by seven wickets with a total of 131 for 3 (Najibullah 43*, Ibrahim 42*).

Afghanistan, though, had difficulty catching up. After 10 overs, they were 48 for 2, and they needed 61 off 33 balls to win.

Mujeeb's first three overs saw him take a wicket in each of them, shattering Bangladesh's top order.

In T20 cricket, Mushfiqur Rahim was given one of the most difficult assignments: facing Rashid with his team 28 for 3 in six overs.

After reaching 53 for 5 and escaping a close call, Mosaddek spearheaded a comeback to give Bangladesh a chance.

Brahim scored four runs off Saifuddin's opening delivery of the 18th over, and Najibullah added another four and two sixes to give the over a final score of 22 runs.
