HS Prannoy beats Loh Kean Yew in the Japan Open 2022.

In both sets, Indian badminton sensation HS Prannoy overcame deficits to win his pre-quarterfinal match at the Japan Open on Thursday, September 1st.

Former world champion and current world number seven Loh Kean Yew squared off against HS Prannoy.

Lakshya Sen of India was eliminated early from the Japan Open.

In both sets, Prannoy fought from well down to pull off an amazing triumph.

On Thursday, September 1 in the Japan Open, Indian HS Prannoy defeated Singaporean Loh Kean Yew and advanced to the quarterfinals

though Loh would easily win both of his games against the world number 18 Prannoy; but, the Indian kept his composure against the Singaporean and prevailed in both sets, 22-20, 21-19.

Prannoy, who is renowned for having a significant role in India's Thomas Cup victories and for securing victories under duress before to the championship game, has once again put up an amazing performance.
