Sri Lanka to relieve director of cricket Tom Moody ahead of T20 World Cup 2022

Before the T20 World Cup or before the end of this month, Moody will depart.

By mutual consent, Moody's three-year contract is being cancelled.

Ahead of the forthcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022, the Sri Lanka Cricket board (SLC) plans to remove Tom Moody from his position as Sri Lanka's director of cricket

The news agency AFP cited SLC secretary Mohan de Silva as saying that Moody's three-year tenure is being terminated by mutual consent

Moody had previously been Sri Lanka's head coach. As of right now, Moody hasn't commented on leaving his position

It was previously known that the 1999 World Cup champion would join the Desert Vipers team in the UAE's International League T20 as director of cricket.
