Venkatesh Prasad rips KL Rahul after slow knock against Hong Kong

Cup of Asia: KL Rahul needed 39 balls to get it to 36 before being struck out. When he was dismissed, India was in trouble at 94/2 after 13 overs.

As the "Men in Blue" took on Hong Kong in their second Group A match at the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai, Indian opening batter KL Rahul was in the spotlight.

This appearance was crucial for Rahul to get back into the swing of things after he was removed for a golden duck in India's opening game against Pakistan.

Rahul did spend some time in the middle and scored 36 runs, but he didn't exactly have the appearance of a batter in a T20 match.

Rahul needed 39 balls to get it to 36 before being struck out. After 13 overs, India was in trouble at 94/2 when he was dismissed.

Suryakumar Yadav, who replaced Rahul in the batting order, gave the innings a huge boost by slamming an unbeaten 68 off only 26 balls to raise the team's tally to 192/2 in 20 overs.

Even Virat Kohli displayed strong play as he finished the game undefeated on 59 from 44 balls.
