Kinrara Academy Oval
The Kinrarar Academy Oval was a cricket stadium in Bandar Kinrarar, Puchong, Selangor, near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was officially constructed in 2003 and it hosted its first match in 2005 when Bhutan U17 played Kuwait U17 in the Asian Cricket Council U17 Cupo But this stadium just could seat 4,000 spectators and then it got closed on 30th June 2022.
This stadium was the smallest cricket stadium in the world by boundary size. According to the source, this stadium hosted all 7 matches in the 2006-2007 DLF Cup and it featured Australia, India, and the West Indies. All the matches played have ODI status. Because of the capacity of 4,000 people, only some hundred spectators turned up to watch the match. Since then Major International cricket has not come back.
The Malaysian Cricket Association officially announced that they had given an order to vacate the stadium on 20th March 2022 because of arrears of over 1.8 million Malaysian Rupees in disputed assessment fees.
