Why Are Bangladeshi Cricket Fans So Arrogant Towards Indian Cricket Fans?
In our opinion, the hatred and animosity of Bangladesh cricket fans towards Indian cricket fans and Indians comes from the roots not just from this sport. This game is just a way to vent out their frustration anger and to some extent their inferiority complex.
A lot of Indians believe that since the formation of Bangladesh took place only after India was liberated from Pakistan, the Bangladeshis should be eternally grateful to India. We know this is not a realistic expectation on the part of this section of India and a large chunk of Bangladeshis are obvious to history and simply refuse to accept the fact that it is India without whose intervention their country would not even have existed.

A lot of Indian army officers sacrificed their lives to liberate Bangladesh from Pakistan and Pakistani atrocities. These soldiers were people whose families did not have anything to gain from Bangladesh’s freedom. They just fought among Pakistanis and Razakars and laid down their lives.
The Bangladeshi people believe that the water supply to them was controlled by India as they built the Farakka dam and they expected free-flowing water but it was not turned, this is one of the reasons they hate Indians.
Another reason Bangladesh cricket fans hate Indian fans is that India sells crops, vegetables, and some other foods to Bangladesh in exchange for US Dollars adhering to international norms. But Bangladesh expects free and cheap lunches.
