Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s brilliant bowling performance helped crush KKR’s batting unit, picking up four wickets in the first innings. Chahal became the all-time leading wicket-taker in IPL history, and also managed to claim the IPL Purple Cap back. KKR bowlers struggled to make a comeback in the second innings as Jaiswal’s blistering start gave them no chance. Rajasthan Royals cruised to a nine-wicket victory, moving up to number three in the IPL points table.
