This win was much required Barcelona to stand strong and rise their way up the league table. However, Ronald Koeman realizes that he has failed to bring in a proper 9 in his squad. Luis Suarez left the Catalan club in the summer transfer window and Barca could not replace him.

Memphis Depay was supposed to join the Blaugrana on the deadline but things did not go accordingly as Barcelona did not meet the salary caps regulation to complete the transfer.

The Dutch boss admitted Barcelona have regularly failed to finish great chances and gain the lead with ease due to the lack of a striker. Messi also could not help his side with low key form in recent games. There is a possibility Barca may venture into the market than opting to go forward with Memphis Depay in the winter transfer window.
