Wolves have an option to buy Francisco Trincao at the end of his loan spell

The Portuguese had arrived at the Catalan club last season for a transfer fee of €16 Million in the Summer transfer window after an immaculate year with his former club S.C Braga.

Unfortunately the youngster failed to impress in his first season at Camp Nou. Under manager Ronald Koeman, Francisco Trincao made 28 appearances in the La Liga last season, scored 3 goals, and provided 2 assists.

The presence of Ousmane Dembele at FC Barcelona, who has the same profile as Francisco Trincao, inhibited the 21 year old from flourishing as the Portuguese did not get enough chances to prove himself.

He now moves to the Premier League in search of a new challenge. Although it is a loan deal, Wolves will have an option to buy the player permanently next season for €22 Million, if they are pleased with his services.

It is being reported that Barcelona B player Alex Collado will replace Trincao in the senior team.
