Gus Hutchison Career
He bought a Formula One Brabham BT26 in 1970 and raced it in the 1970 United States Grand Prix. He retired after 21 laps due to a leaking fuel tank.
Hutchison continued to race in the SCCA competition when Formula A was renamed Formula 5000, driving cars from Lola and March. After retiring from racing, Hutchison concentrated on his Dallas-based company, Solar Kinetics.
