Holm made her mixed martial arts debut against Christina Domke on March 4, 2011, at an event organized by her boxing promoter, Lenny Fresquez. She and Jackson’s Submission Fighting colleague Keith Jardine topped the card. Holm won the fight via second-round TKO after her opponent could not continue due to leg strikes from Holm. Holm returned to mixed martial arts on September 9, 2011, against Strikeforce veteran Jan Finney at Fresquez Productions: Clash in the Cage. She won by TKO in the third round against Finney.
