Liverpool, coached by Jurgen Klopp, has been said to be interested in acquiring Ruben Neves, a midfielder now playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers. It seems that they may be able to do so if they are willing to pay the transfer fee.
Liverpool have reportedly informed super-agent Jorge Mendes of their desire to buy Neves from Wolves during the next summer transfer window, as reported by 90min in March.
The Portugal international midfielder has been linked to Arsenal after former Manchester United defender Gary Neville called him “a top player” and “sensational” on Sky Sports Premier League.
According to Sport, Barcelona is seriously considering signing Neves. It has been reported in Spain that Wolves are willing to sell their star midfielder for €50 million (£43.6 million), who is a 26-year-old international for Portugal.
Liverpool is interested in signing the €50 million rated midfielder
During the next summer transfer window, Liverpool may be able to acquire Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Neves, at age 26, is one of the finest midfielders in the world. We doubt Wolves will be able to retain him beyond this season.
Liverpool needs strong, assertive midfielders who can carry the team on their shoulders. Neves would provide Liverpool with much-needed vitality and movement.
The Wolves star has made 175 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 21 goals and setting up 14 huge opportunities.
