Premier League Club’s Audacious Move Sends Shockwaves: Manchester United Star in Surprise Transfer Talks

The Daily Mail reports that Nottingham Forest is seriously interested in permanently acquiring the services of Dean Henderson. As a loanee from Manchester United, the 26-year-old has been outstanding for the club. The club is considering making Henderson’s loan into a permanent transfer because of his stellar play.

He signed for Manchester United in 2011, when he was 26 years old. He has been sent around on loan many times as he has worked his way up through the ranks. Despite his talent and success on loan, he has not yet established himself as a regular starter at Old Trafford. Since David de Gea is expected to sign a new deal, it’s probable that Manchester United’s current backup goalkeeper, Jordan Henderson, will have to go elsewhere for playing time.

The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest. Eighteen Premier League games in, he has kept six clean sheets. The England international’s season has been derailed by injuries. However, in the few games he’s played in, he’s excelled.
