PSG reveal their asking price for Kylian Mbappe after rejecting Real’s first bid: The numbers will blow your mind

Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain rejected Real Madrid’s initial bid of €160 million for their star striker Kylian Mbappe and they have now set a mammoth asking price for the 22 year old. PSG reportedly want €200 million for Kylian Mbappe. If they really manage to get that amount this summer, it will make the Frenchman the costliest player in the history of Football.

La Liga giants Real Madrid pretty much shocked the entire football community yesterday with their €160 million bid for Kylian Mbappe. It was shocking for two main reasons. Firstly, because La Casa Blanca are currently in a financial mess due to the COVID-19 crisis in Spain and the strict regulations of the Spanish Liga. Secondly, Kylian Mbappe’s contract with PSG ends next year post which he will be available for any club to be signed for free. Thus, Real Madrid’s huge bid just a week before the transfer deadline, came as a bit of a bummer.

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly rejected 7 contract renewal offers from PSG making it clear that he wants his way out of Paris to join his dream club Real Madrid. This is exactly why, for the first time ever, PSG are considering selling the frenchman but their demands are excessively high.

Florentino Perez wants to sign Kylian Mbappe as soon as possible

According to ESPN, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is working just on the Mbappe transfer right now and he will ‘stop at nothing’.

RMC Sport have assured that Kylian Mbappe will quit Paris Saint Germain either this summer as the costliest player of all times, or next summer as a free agent.

President Florentino Perez probably wants to avoid competing with Liverpool next season for Kylian and therefore, he wants to seal the deal as soon as possible.

But PSG have made their stand. They will not let go of their star player for anything less than €200 million. And that is a daunting number for even the richest clubs.
