WATCH: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcome the whole RCB team to their restaurant/bar

In the current 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has been battling hard for a playoff berth. The Faf du Plessis-led squad is presently tied for fifth place with 12 points in the IPL 2023. On May 18 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, they’ll play the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). 

At their restaurant/bar in Juhu, Mumbai, RCB star batter Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma held a supper for the Bangalore squad. On May 10, while the pair was in Mumbai, they invited their whole team and crew.

On Tuesday, May 16th, RCB took to Twitter to post a video of its members eating at Kohli’s restaurant/bar. The team members were spotted grooving together, and the pair was shown welcoming them to their restaurant/bar.

Virat Kohli’s batting form is excellent as of late; he has 438 runs at a strike rate of 131.53 in 12 games, including six half-centuries. Recently, the former captain of India and RCB became the first batsman in the league’s history to score 7,000 runs. On May 6, during RCB’s rematch with the Delhi Capitals (DC), he hit the milestone at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. In particular, RCB lost by seven wickets against David Warner’s squad.

RCB posted the video and wrote: “Team Bonding at Virat Kohli’s resto-bar in Mumbai Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli invited the team over for dinner in Mumbai. These lovely visuals tell you how the little unwinding helped the team get together and create positive vibes heading into the business end of #IPL2023.”
