Wilfried Zaha will leave Crystal Palace and become a free agent this summer

According to sources, Wilfried Zaha will leave Crystal Palace and become a free agent this summer. There is dwindling hope at Selhurst Park that the 30-year-old attacker would sign a new contract with the club before the conclusion of the season.

Palace has reportedly conducted discussions with Zaha’s representatives about a new deal, but progress has reportedly halted and an agreement is not near. According to reports, Zaha has been given a four-year contract of £200,000 per week by Palace, but he is hesitant to finish his career with the club.

We have been told by reliable sources that it is “very likely” that Zaha will leave the London club this summer. After a disappointing time at Manchester United, he came back to Crystal Palace in 2014 and has been there ever since.

Zaha has developed into an offensive talisman for the Eagles, contributing 90 goals and 76 assists in 457 career games. Multiple high-paying offers have been made for Zaha in recent years, but after almost a decade at Selhurst Park, Palace have accepted that they will lose him for nothing.

Zaha scored four goals in Palace’s first five league games of the 2022/23 season, but his goal-scoring pace dropped significantly from there. His most recent goal came in a 4-3 victory against West Ham in April, bringing his total for the season to seven.
