According to Sky Germany, Julian Naglesmann is interested in signing the Dutch right back but the problem arises in his price tag. Bayern Munich do not want to pay a €15M release clause for the defender.

Newly appointed head coach Julian Nagelsmann is looking to re-shape the current Bayern Munich squad
Julian Naglesmann is planning to reshape the Bayern Munich squad by either playing with three centre backs or three centre backs with two full backs. Julian Naglesmann doesn’t see Benjamin Pavard as his ideal right wing back. The former Leipzig coach thinks that the World cup winner -Pavard will not fit into his squad and is therefore looking for a replacement for him. Dumfries with his speed and dynamism might add more taste to the new coach.
Everton were leading the race to sign the Dutch defender in the summer. But Dumfries’s impressive performances in the Euro 2020 has caught the attention of the Bundesliga winners. Bayern might intervene in Everton’s target and might well seal the deal. Everton in the past offered 13M euros for the right wing back but the bid was rejected by PSV. Everton are currently without a manager after Carlo Ancelotti departed last week to join the Galacticos. But Everton are still working to pick out players that would fit in their squads.
