Shubman Gill scored Double Centy with 3 back to back sixers, Twitterati calls him the “Young Monster”
Shubman Gill scored his first ODI double hundred in the ongoing match between India and Newzealand. He became the 5th Indian player after, Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, and Ishan Kishan.
The first match of the ODI series between India and New Zealand is being played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Team India won the toss and decided to bat first. They received a great start from the openers. However, the wickets kept falling on the regular periods while Shubman Gill was standing alone on the other end.
He scored a total of 208 runs in 149 balls including 19 Fours, and 9 Sixes. He completed this double century with three back-to-back sixes and Twitter exploded with applauding tweets for Shubman after his double century. Twitter users started calling him the “Young Monster”.
