The Barcelona manager finds flaws in a 2-1 victory
Koeman remarked about last night in a post-match interview, as per Marca. Messi provided an early advantage in Barca’s favor concerting the penalty in the 5th minute but could not extend the lead. The Dutch boss pointed out that there were more chances to score against Kyiv which were not utilized properly. Koeman lauded Ter Stegen for being a constant between the sticks turning down good attempts towards the goal. The gaffer was critical of his team’s performance without the ball defensively.

He also praised the opponents for creating a number of goal threats against them which shows why their defending was mediocre. Koeman tried to make an instant impact at the club but is gradually trying to make his presence known. Barcelona will try to rise from 8 points in 6 matches in the league to successive wins. They currently sit 9 points behind league leader Real Sociedad and 8 points behind bitter rivals Real Madrid.
