IPL 2020 Update: There has been a lot of delay for the start of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL is finally set to start on September 19. On September 6, BCCI has now released the official fixtures for the IPL 2020. The fans are in eager anticipation for the T20 extravaganza to start.
In the meantime, all the IPL teams have started with their preparations and training for the IPL 2020 season. The franchises are trying hard to keep the fans engaged and updated by sharing training pictures and interesting videos on their social media handle.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore side innovatively shared their fixtures. They uploaded a video and asked the fans to choose the most anticipated fixture. The video clip showed all the IPL teams who are ready to face off against RCB in this year’s IPL.(IPL 2020 Update).

However, in the video RCB showed Rajasthan Royals with their old blue logo. RCB will face off against RR in their 4th match of the season. Interestingly, the social media handle of RR was very quick to spot the mistake made by RCB. They took a sly dig at RCB by posting a hilarious meme. Rajasthan posted a ‘Simpsons’ meme where we can see character writing ‘I will use the correct logo of RR’ multiple times on a blackboard.

This became viral on Twitter and fans came out in reply to RR’s tweet. However, RCB did not back off. On the very next day, they came out with a cheeky reply. On Tuesday, they posted a picture of Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson. Samson sported the old blue log in his Helmet. RCB captioned the photo as, “So you’re saying this is the incorrect logo?” (IPL 2020 Update).
Virat Kohli and Co. will kick off their IPL 2020 season with the first match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on 21st September at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. RCB always has had a star-studded squad at their disposal. However, they have still failed to win the IPL. So, the team will be determined to win their maiden IPL title in the UAE.
The likes of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Aaron Finch, Dale Steyn and Yuzvendra Chahal will be looking to bolster the performance of the team. Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi will host the matches of the IPL 2020. (IPL 2020 Update).
