Santos starlet Kaio Jorge is in advanced talks with Juventus for a move to the Serie A club this summer. Jorge earlier rejected a proposal he received from Benfica which makes it clear that the 19-year-old is interested in signing for the Old Lady. The player has entered in the final six months of his contract and is eligible to negotiate for a pre-contract deal. The player’s agent- Giuliano Bertolucci has been talking to Italian clubs.
According to the Goal, Benfica are keen on signing the 19-year-old but Kaio Jorge has rejected a move to Portugal. Instead, the report has revealed that Juventus and the Santos starlet are in advanced talks over a move in January 2022.

How much will Kaio Jorge cost Juventus?
According to Sky Sports Italia (via Milan News), the situation surrounding the Brazilian striker have reported that Milan have made a €5m offer to the Sao Paulo club to sign the player in the current summer transfer window.
Milan have also reached an agreement with the player and could offer €3m-4m to Santos, hoping to finalise a deal before his contract with Santos expires.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Benfica have already reached an agreement with the Brazilian club, but Kaio Jorge is willing to move to Serie A so he will reject a transfer to Portugal.
Benfica were so keen on him that they were even willing to meet the €10m price that Santos was asking for to take him early. Santos accepted the transfer proposal from Benfica for the 19-year-old attacker but the player personally refused the approach with his mind set on Serie A.

According to UOL Esporta, the Bianconeri’s are in a pole position to secure his services, the player has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus.
“Mr Rueda, we know that Kaio Jorge’s registration with Santos expires on December 31, so we inform you that we have begun negotiations according to article 18.3,” Juventus letter reads according to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.
Juventus are not willing to spend any money on the 19-year-old striker who sees his contract expire in June, so they are planning to sign him as a free agent from January.
However, reports have also indicated that Juventus are now planning a potential move this summer which would see them pay Santos between €1-2m for a permanent move.
They could also sign a pre-contract agreement with Jorge but that would see him only arrive in January and Santos would receive nothing as he would leave for free. The 19-year-old has also been linked with a move to England and other clubs within Italy as well but no club has made the leap for the young Brazilian.
Kaio Jorge is a Santos academy graduate as he arrived at the club at the age of 16. He has been playing top-flight matches in Brazil since then. He scored 15 goals in 79 matches for Santos. He also scored 11 goals in 15 matches for Brazil’s at U15 & U17 level.
