Mauro Icardi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been reportedly involved in a swap deal between Juventus & Paris Saint German. The Parisians have already signed Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi. That would be cherry on top if Ronaldo joins the Parisians this summer. Amidst all the signings the French club will be looking to offload some players from their books with Icardi being the one they might start with.
According to L’Equipe, Juve are considering offering Cristiano Ronaldo to the Parisians to try and bring Icardi to Turin. Marca have also claimed Juventus’ three-man shortlist to replace Ronaldo includes Gabriel Jesus, Mauro Icardi and Dusan Vlahovic.

Cristiano Ronaldo is coming back from a disappointing season after getting knocked out in the Round of 16 stage by Belgium. Despite Portugal’s early exit from EUROs, Ronaldo won the Golden boot with five goals. The 36-year-old scored an outstanding 29 goals in 33 league games to drag his side to Champions League qualification in 2021-22, proving himself as still one of the very best.
Icardi was not included in Argentina’s squad for Copa America but Lionel Messi’s side won the tournament by defeating Brazil in the finals. The Argentine joined the Parisians in 2019 after falling out with his former club, Inter and scored 33 goals in his 62 appearances with the Ligue 1 side. Icardi joined PSG on a permanent transfer last season after a year on loan in the French capital, but he’s failed to settle. He scored seven goals in Ligue 1 and battled a number of injury issues. Ronaldo now has a season left in his contract at Turin & the Bianconeri’s would gladly accept Icardi coming in exchange of the 36-year-old.

According to Footmercato via Calciomercato, the key for Icardi’s arrival to Turin is a swap deal with Cristiano Ronaldo. It is believed that the Portuguese wishes to leave Juventus this summer, but the only viable option remaining for him is PSG, who would consider him the cherry on top after their fabulous summer transfer campaign. Reports claims that the two clubs would be happy to conduct this exchange. Juve would get rid of the huge financial burden of maintaining Ronaldo for another season, while the Nerazzurri’s would gladly accept Icardi joining their squad.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been busy on the transfer market this season and it looks like they are not done yet. The French Giants not only want to win the domestic title this season but are very focused to win their first ever UEFA Champions League title. PSG lost both the legs to Manchester City last season and also failed to win Ligue 1 on the final day of the campaign.
