Rahul Singh Chahar is an Indian cricket player born on 12th September 1992 in Kaithal, Haryana, India. As of 2024, he is 31 years old. He is a left-hand batsman and slow-left-arm orthodox. He comes from a sports family background as he was born to Mr. Khazan Singh who is his father. His father is a former wrestling international player. His father was also used to the electrical field. Now he is a retired man.
Rahul Singh Chahar’s mother is a housewife. The name of his mother has not been disclosed till now. Chahar has grown up alongside his brother whose name is Surender Singh Chahar. Surender is an advocate. Rahul has been interested in cricket since his childhood. His journey in cricket has set a mark as he has seen several turns in his life.

It all started in 2005 when Rahul Singh Chahar came to Chandigarh from Kaital. At that time he was in 8th standard at DAV School, where he started coaching cricket. After that he started living in a hostel at that time he was just 13 years old.
Then from 2006 to 2009, he started playing for Chandigarh under 17. Then he played under 17 for Punjab and later he got selected for the north zone team. After that, he got selected for N.C.A. In 2010, he moved to Himachal, and from there he started playing under 19 for Himachal. He set a record by taking 29 wickets in 8 matches. After that, he was selected for the National Cricket Academy. Till 2016 he played for Himachal in all the formats like Ranji Days, Ranji One Days, Ranji T20.
Rahul Singh Chahar became the highest wicket talked under 23 as he took 35 wickets in just 7 matches. From that, he got selected for the India camp. He played alongside Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya. In that camp, he became the highest wicket-taker as he took 12 wickets in just 3 matches.
In 2015, he reached Himachal Vijay Hazare, where he performed very bravely and gave his best performance. He took the wickets of Manoj Tiwari, Saha, and Pujara. In 2017, he got a job in army sports, then he started giving services. In 2019, he made his official debut in the IPL, as he got selected for the Rajasthan Royal team. Then in 2020, he came under the top 10 in Vijay Hazare.
In 2021, he started giving services in the semifinals for the first time and there he became the highest wicket-taker of the services team he also came on the list of the top 10 in India.

Rahul Singh Chahar has revealed his plans as he has revealed that the cricket in the army has been recently over, so now he is again gonna try to play for Chandigarh from where his cricket journey started, thankfully, his entire 33 fad unit is supporting him, and Col.
